We as the WORLD are faced with many issues, those of poverty, financial turmoil, hunger, disease, war, pain - a great deal of upheaval. In spite of these set backs, we have in front of us a generation of youth who care. 2009 is going to be a big year. Our youth are empowered to CHANGE....it is POSSIBLE!
We start our 2009 year at the YC with enormous aspirations! We are going to change the world! Can you believe it? We can! Our youth are going to do it, one person at a time. Inspired by the book written by Catherine Ryan Hyde, Pay It Forward is the movement of random acts of kindness. Yesterday we watched the film to get an idea of what is in store for us this year. Stay tuned for how our youth are paying it forward.....
